Charlotte Ann Hinesley

Charlotte “Ann” Hinesley, 78, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by family.

Ann was born on May 17, 1948, to Euclis and Yvonne Smith in Ridgely, Tennessee.Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She found great joy in cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comfort of a good meal shared with those she cherished most.

Ann was also dedicated to her family. Her relationship with God was a guiding force throughout her life and she faithfully served and supported her church whenever she could.

Ann is survived by her son, Robert Hinesley (Rebecca); grandchildren Edwin Aurs, Steven Hinesley (Samantha), Hayley Aurs (Evan Actis), Robert Wall (Jennifer), Lee Hinesley (Clarrissa), Brittany Wooten (Tyler), and Marrissa Digman. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren Mason, Landon, Reegan, Amelia, Braelyn, Nikkol, Willow, Lachlan, Riley, and Layne.

She is also survived by her brothers, Joe Smith and (Kay), and Nathan Smith (Lisa) and her nieces, Felicia and Jalana. And Russel Norman the companion of her late daughter Patricia Aurs Digman

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Euclis and Yvonne Smith; her husband, Robert L. Hinesley; her daughter, Patricia Aurs Digman; her brother, Bill Smith; and her sister, Wanda Sheppard.

Ann will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith and devotion to her family. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simple Tributes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Bridge Point Fellowship 2215 Nall Street, Port Neches, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., with the service following at 2:00 p.m.
